I’m a wife and homeschooling mom of two, and I was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Jamaica.

I’ve written ever since I was a small child, and I’ve had poems and articles published since I was 9 years old. Over the years I’ve written in fits and spurts, at different times of my life, and with various themes.

So what should you expect here, at Ja’Momma? My thoughts on daily life with a teenager and preschooler, homeschooling ideas, reviews of products, curriculum, movies and books, and whatever else takes my fancy. I’ve been encouraged to blog for many years, and after all those years of resisting, I am finally giving in. I look forward to hearing from you through your comments and suggestions.
